My magicka templar for trials/12 man group content
This is my current magicka templar dps set up for trials,
this is a massive damage build even with basic buffs from a 4man group
However if your nut use to playing/sustaining a magika dump class you will have recourse issues
Gear
Skill bar 1
Inner light, structured entropy, blazing spear, puncturing sweep, radiant glory ULT shooting star
Skill bar 2
Inner light, wall of elements, vampires bane, rearming trap, channelled focus ULT crescent sweep
Skill options and open spots
Bar 1,blazing spear can be swaped with dark flare for ranged fights
Bar 2, inner light could be swapped with harness magic if needed
You can use a resto staff or destro staff on bar2 its up to you
Remember to manage your resources always pop potions and live in your channelled focus
Important skills
Vampires bane: other then the good damage and procing scoria this skill is super important to refresh as soon as i ends
Why? Because of the passive illuminate granting you and you group minor sorcert 5% more spell damage for 20 seconds and 2191 spell crit
Channelled focus: i run this skill to benefit from the major physical and spell resistance buff. the magicka return is just a bonus
Why: allot of trials have mechanics that can 1 shot glass cannon dps characters this skill will make you harder to kill
Rearming trap: once active you receive extra crit damage, keeping this buff active is very important
Crescent sweep: this ultimate is mainly on bar 2 for the passive
What passive? Piercing armour, this passive increases critical strikes by 10% with my skill setup it is active on both skill bars
Radiant glory: this is our execute ability from 30% health and lower, i allways empower this skill with inner light or structured entropy
Why: yes this morph does less damage, but the healing you receive from this morph is insane
Additional information
Just like every other build i use spell damage potions
All gold gear and enchants
Thief is my mundas stone
BIS armour would be twice born star
With the thief and shadow
Breton is my race, the cost reduction really helps
I also have a mag recovery willpower necklace if i dont have worm in my group
Other passives
Medium armour: wind walker, reduces stam cost
Medium armour: athletics, reduces the cost of dodge roll
Heavy armour: get every passive lvl to 50
Fighters guild: banished the wicked, gain ult for killing undead and dadrea
Duel wield: twin blade and blunt, increases you damage
Alchemy: medical use, extends your potion duration to 47seconds
Things im working on
Moondaner instead of aether to reach 43k max magic
Finding the perfect CP set up
My stats (SD pot + food + channelled focus)
Max magicka: 42209 max health: 18223 max stamina: 9955 spell damage: 3219 spell crit: 68.1% physical resistance: 23364 spell resistance: 16710
